NOTABLE PROJECTS
Self Hosted Homelab and Infrastructure - Linux · Docker · Caddy · Cloudflare · Tailscale · VPN networking
Designed and maintain a Linux-based self-hosted environment running containerised media servers, finance tools, web applications, home automation and game servers.
Configured Caddy as a reverse proxy with Cloudflare and used Tailscale for remote SSH access and Gluetun to route selected containers through a VPN.
Maintain Docker Compose configurations and troubleshoot networking as new services are added.
Mental Health Tracking and Support App - Python · Flask · SQLite · HTML/CSS/JavaScript · Authentication
Developed and maintain a Flask web application allowing users to create and join private mental health groups and set their current mental state, with automated daily resets and notifications.
Developed a vent wall that allows users to post either anonymously or publicly. Anonymous posts are stored using a code held in the user's session, helping prevent the author from being identified through the stored post data and allowing only the author to see replies to their post.
Implemented a local SQLite3 database with a focus on security, privacy and secure handling of user data
Personal Website - Python · Flask · SQLite · HTML/CSS/JavaScript · Cloudflare
Developed and maintain a self-hosted personal web platform with user accounts, email verification, role-based access controls, password hashing and Cloudflare CAPTCHA protection.
Host the website on a Raspberry Pi and use Cloudflare Tunnels to make it accessible externally.
Implemented database-backed permissions to restrict access to selected areas of the platform.
Multiplayer Portal FPS — Electric Square - Unity · C# · Unity Netcode for GameObjects
Developed a 3D first-person shooter in Unity based on a portal game brief provided by Electric Square.
Designed and implemented the portal system, including rendering the area on the other side of portals and allowing the player to move through them.
Implemented the game's multiplayer functionality using Unity Netcode for GameObjects.
Worked independently over an academic year, with regular meetings with Electric Square and a final technical report.
Fashion-MNIST CNN & GAN - Python · PyTorch · CNN · GAN · DCGAN
Developed a CNN classifier for the Fashion-MNIST dataset, achieving approximately 80% accuracy.
Implemented GAN and DCGAN models from scratch and wrote the training loops used to train them.
Compared GAN and DCGAN approaches by evaluating the generated images and investigating differences between the models.
OTHER PROJECTS
Game Jams And Hackathons - Unity · C# · Raspberry Pi Pico · Team development
Participated in two game jams and two hackathons, winning a category in each game jam, including a grand prize at one; worked in teams of 4–5 under 24-hour deadlines using Unity and Raspberry Pi Pico.
Compiler for a Toy Programming Language - Java · ANTLR
Developed a compiler in Java using ANTLR to translate a toy programming language into Java
Worked with parsing, semantic and type checking, error handling, and implemented support for variables, while loops and if statements
Propaganda Text Classification - Python · BERT · Natural Language Processing
Developed and fine-tuned BERT-based text classification models using a propaganda dataset, experimenting with and comparing several approaches.
Monopoly Clone - Unity · C# · Team development
Worked as part of a team to develop a Monopoly-style game in Unity.
Developed the user interface and implemented player movement, buying and selling of properties.
